Hovercraft called to Thornham Harbour – Launch 22 June 2016

hovercraft-beechAt 10.55pm Humber Coastguard requested the launch of the Hunstanton Hovercraft to assist in the recovery of a gentleman who had fallen from his boat in Thornham harbour and was stuck in deep mud.

Hunstanton volunteer crew launched on service and made good speed to Thornham. On arrival at the scene they received a radio message that the person had been pulled from the mud and was now in the care of the Ambulance crew and that they could return to station. No further details are available. Our hovercraft returned to station at 11.55pm.
