Update on the April collection at Midsummer Place

RNLI Welly filled with coins on the beach. Shot for Mayday fundraising campaign 2014.Hello Everyone

The Midsummer Place collection went off well. Many thanks to all you who turned out. The temperature took us all by surprise, certainly on Sunday. Alice was prepared with about 10 layers of clothes on but the sun came out in the afternoon and cheered us all up.  The “Mayday Pins” proved to be very popular and, I have to confess, a lot lighter to be holding for long periods of time.

We still need your help for this coming weekend. It is a bank holiday weekend and we are allowed to collect at Willington over a 4 day period. This is the official MayDay appeal so if you can help we would love to see you from 2 hours to 4 days…..!!

Last weekend’s collection was:-

  • Saturday              £608.90
  • Sunday                 £447.70
  • Grand Total        £1,056.60 (Another grand weekend!)
