Hunstanton Lifeboat Launch – Thursday 16 October 2014

At 7.15pm Humber Coastguard requested the launch of Hunstanton lifeboat “Spirit of West Norfolk” to investigate a report of a dinghy thought to be in trouble off Hunstanton.

Hunstanton volunteer crew launched on service and searched the area.  Para flares were used to illuminate the area but nothing was found.

Humber CG called off the search as the object sighted by the informant was most likely to have been mooring buoys belonging to a local boat owner.
