Hunstanton Lifeboat Launch – Sunday 17th August 2014

20140309-204154.jpgHumber Coastguard received a ‘May Day’ call from a small fishing vessel at 8.50pm saying he had engine failure and had run aground.

He gave his position as in the Bulldog channel.

Hunstanton Lifeboat was launched to search the area and searched up to Admiralty point.  Coastguard officers also joined in the search.

Nothing was found and the search was called off at 11.23pm.

It is thought that it was a hoax call.
