Friday 24 January 2014 20:00 – 23.00
An evening of sea shanty and maritime songs in aid of the RNLI hosted by Five Men Not Called Matt once again at the helm, with a scurvy crew of lusty-voiced matelots manning the poop-decks.
About as far from the sea as you can get in England, but with a history of sea-going boat-making and one of the finest purveyors of sea shanties to its name, Stony Stratford is the obvious place for a shanty festival.
Our branch secretary is threatening to sing a song from his maritime days so there will be an opportunity to donate money to either approve or reject this plan on the night!
Entry is £5 which will go to the RNLI. Note that this event sold out last year, so you are advised to buy tickets in advance (available in January).
Venue: York House Centre
