Hovercraft goes to the aid of two at Brancaster

The Hunstanton RNLI Hovercraft was called into action on Sunday 26th February at the request of Yarmouth Coastguard.

The Coastguard had received a 999 call stating that two persons were cut off by a rising tide at Brancaster Scolt Head island.   H-003, The Hunstanton Hovercraft, was launched at  5.32 pm with volunteer RNLI crew and proceeded to Brancaster.

Two male persons were located and picked up by the Hover crew and landed on the beach at Brancaster Golf Club into the care of local CG team. H-003 returned to station at 6.20 pm.
